Hello, my name is Alen and this is a condensed documentation of some of my passions in life. I picked up a pencil at a young age and at some point transitioned into the digital world, from where most of what you see here has spawned. My work spans a few fields. Independent art, graphic design and computer technology; alongside energy efficiency research, technical assistance and education as part of the University of Oregon Energy Studies in Buildings Laboratory where I primarily work with daylighting and glare analyses using Radiance and High Dynamic Range Imaging (HDRI). I am also involved in energy simulation via OpenStudio and EnergyPlus. Following heavy application of BASH, R, Python, Perl, and Ruby scripting in order to automate some of the Lab's simulation processes that would otherwise be a costly manual effort, I am now exploring alternate applications of a more visual and artistic capacity.

I will be working on summaries for each section, in the meantime please excuse the lack of narration. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to drop me a line.

Cheers,
